I own a pair of NS-10's. They are only good for checking a mix IMO. I have heard V8 in a few rooms and just don't like the high mid response...
All this being said, I could learn to use BOTH to make good mixes!
THE point I was making IS that I could also learn to make good mixes on Alesis monitors! I'm NOT saying I particuarly love Alesis monitors, but using them to get a good mix is something they are totally capable of, if you know them...
Remember we are talkin' about SUBJECTIVITY!!!!
