Industrial Metal Song Beta Version. What can I change?

Well this isn't my genre exactly, sounds you put alot of work into this, interesting opening I might have gotten things going a little quicker, the first sound by itself isn't that interesting till the second sound comes in-a full 30 seconds before things get going seems a bit long. Nice fat guitar tone and the playing is tight, sounds good to me. Maybe lacking a bit in the high end in general but I'm not sure...The riff around 49 seconds is a bit awkward as it hits a higher note each time I can't tell if its the note selection or if the bass and guitar get a little off there but it sounds a bit wierd. The rest has such precise playing that it sticks out after a few listens. So how is this done? What is played-programmed etc? all one person? Well done and very meticulous work for sure.

Thanks for this advices! I will use them for sure. Yeah, it's recorded by one person, the guitar is recorded, the bass and drums are programmed. And it has taken not as much time as you think :) I've done it in about 4-5 hours :)

I liked the playing. Guitars sounded OK - they could maybe use a little more bite. Good low end to the mix.

The intro was in a different key than the rest of the song. They like a half step different. I think that transition would work better if they were in the same.

Song got somewhat repetitive after a while.

Thanks. I'm going to add vocals to it so it will be less repetitive. And about that different key - the intro and the rest of the song as a major key have "C" so it should work, maybe I don't hear it, thanks, I will check it.

I don't think the intro is in a different key. I think there's just a lot of dissonant noises going on here, which is pretty standard for the genre.

I agree the intro could be a little shorter.

I like the tempo changes between the verse and chorus (I guess that's what they are?)

I'd tone down the cymbals a bit. (But I rarely like percussion with so much cymbal emphasis.)

Vox would definitely help.

It's supposed to be like that, I think it sounds good. What VHS says about dissonance or whatever. Cool song! The drums sound kinda thin tho. I dont think it's too cymbally, but I think the snare sounds kinda snappy, I'd try to eq some more 'meat' into it. IDK what it needs exactly, I really sux at drums...

I think the guitars sound great. Nice riffage. I agree on the drums though...seemed a bit on the lite side to me given the violent energy of everything else going on. Could they be beefed up some maybe?

Keep in my I know nothing of this genre other than maybe hearing others in this forum occasionally doing something along these lines.

Thanks for all your advices! I will work on this track now, and I add some meat to the drums as you said :) The new version will come soon :)
