I've tried hammerhead, but I need something much better, something I can personalize the sound of, use live, and can actually do what I want it to do. Hammerhead doesn't provide these things, anybody else? It doesn't need to be something free, just something that will do the things I'm asking for.
Its obvious that you didnt dig in or learn to use hammerhead to its fullest extent. It will load samples and you can create multipul patterns that can be chained in a sequencer ect etc......
It actualy quite a great software drum machine, its got great features for a freebee. Actualy its pretty much identical to Steinberg B.Box but free.
Learn it and it will do what you want I'm sure.
I think your be a bit impatient here, I can kind of see that from the amount of topics you have started here recently.
Take a breather and do a ton of searches here and elseware and learn what you need rather than pass on things that you dont understand rather than starting alot of topics that have been covered already.
By the way, pretty much any drum machine will do what that groups will do.
But its harder and harder to tell if they are using loops, drum machine, MPC or what ever so its all subjective.
WHy not make your own trail rather than follow, Inovate not emulate.
My personal favorite programs FYI is Reason and FL studio.
FL is inexpensive and provides tons of sounds and synths and drum machines.
I would consider a laptop, controller and interface with FL long before I bought much hardware. Considering how much more value you get from software, the amount of gear you have mentioned in other posts you could get the afore mentioned laptop setup for the same price or less.
So before you say "anybody else?" and pass on my info at least consider it.
Peace
