I'm kind of a begginner here...but then again, most 15-year-olds are.

Is there a way to increase the volume of mp3's once they are put on my computer? I use a small inexpensive digital recording "box". Sometimes the volume gets really quiet after I bounce the tracks and it is almost impossible to hear.

So pretty much, if someone knows a program I can download off the internet for free that increases the volume of mp3's, I'd appreciate a link...

Thanks!

Aside from turning up your volume, you could just normalize the track. There are a million free programs out there that can do that.

It's best to increase the volume while it's still in WAV format...so you don't have to re-encode as an MP3.

Ever since I got rid of Adobe Audition, I've used a free program called Wavosaur. It seems like a good program and I think it even supports VST plugins.

And yes, it supports MP3s too.

you need to turn up the master volume in your DAW (the program you use to record)
if its clipping after you turn it up you need to learn about compression basically the low volume is because of lack of experience but youll get there! but thuring up the out put before you bounce would do the job!
