Here is my multipurpose study/studio. Since such a small part of the time I spend is recording I want it to be a tranquil place to kick back and write songs by candlelight, while drinking a homemade beer and smoking my hookah. (the legal stuff these years
)
Since the room is all antiques except for my mini-fridge and printer it has a 1930's/ 1940's feel to it. I can kick on the shortwave to give it even more feel.
All that said, when it is time to record I have my hidden studio. It consists of my Boss BR-864 digital studio, Peavey PV6 mixer, MXL V63M condensor mic, a Pentium 4 PC with 600 gig of HD space, dual head video for the twin LCD displays, wireless keyboard and and a gyro-mouse that can be used normal or pointing at the screen like for presentations.... more on the PC maybe later... it's pretty set up tho.
Mic stands put away in the armoirre. Everything comes together and puts up in minutes.
