Hi,
I was after an M Audio1010L but couldn't come up with the necessary readies.
I did buy an INCA88, in excellent condition, with the breakout box for AU$128.
1stly, & I know it's too late to change things, is this a reasonable price?
2ndly, & most importantly, what is the best practical platform & set up for the rig for Cakewalk Pro 9.3?
I have a Pentium 3 PC running under Win98SE. I have a Pentium 4 PC running under XL and, of course a P2 PC running under Win95 (I use that for an old Midi guitar prog G Vox or something like that - a gift - came with a stick on midi pickup). I also have WIN2000 that I could install if that is a better option.
Any direction that can be given would be appreciated.
Cheers

I'm still using my INCA88 and I'm still loving it! :)
I use it with Cakewalk SONAR 5 at the moment, starting at Sonar 1 and upwards (haven't tested it with Pro Audio 8 or 9, but it should work with these, as they use the MME-driver which the INCA also has).

Upgrading to Sonar or HomeStudio willlet you use virtual instruments and effects on the fly. You will even be able to use Input Monitoring (which I cannot live without). :)

Note that Sonar and HomeStudio don't support Win95/98/ME...
