Hi,
I've finally installed & had a chance to play with my INCA88 card & B/out box.
I've used 2 different mics into the breakout box's built in preamp.
There were /are 2 things that perplex me:
a) there is a faint, but audible, high pitched pinging on the recording I did of live cello &
b) the boost pad for the line - when mic is selected & then the additional boost is REALLY noisey without a signal passing through..
Are these common elements? Unique problems?
Any advice for using the preamp?
