Is a G & L Tribue Legacy used worth a $250 price tag?

I've played a few a long time ago, I remember liking them, but I can't remember how well they sounded n' such.

Although I've never actually picked one up and played it, I've read several reviews and first-hand accounts of people putting these above the MIM Telecasters as far as build quality and playability. I'd buy one used for $250 on reputation alone, but that's just me.

How does it play/feel/sound to you?

I bought a Tribute L-2000 for my kids. It's a solid instrument. Stays in tune well. Had to have the plastic nut replaced with bone for $90 but after that it plays like a dream.

I haven't personally played it. My cousin knows someone selling one and i've been wanting to get a strat for a while since I've been doing a bunch of Hendrix covers with my friends and it just doesn't feel right on an SG... :o

Oh I'm sorry I was thinking of the ASAT, which is the Telecaster of the G&L family, isn't it? It looks like the Legacy is the Strat of the family. sorry for the confusion, although I think that these still get rave reviews across the board.
