Hi Guys,
How do I get tracks from a cubase-studio in my protools LE?
Thanx.

well, the same applies for pro tools to anything else. YOU'RE SCREWED. lol basically you need to create all the tracks in cubase, drag the files over into cubase (or pro tools), and line them up where they belong. there's no "import" that i know of. keep in mind all i use is pro tools; no third party software.

nothing like: adding timecode to your bwf-file import it and spot?
Strange..

Actually in the file menu, you can import audio files so long as they are wav or aiff files. The digidesign website has a whole host of tutorials about importing files and making all your sounds line up porperly. I would def. suggest taking a look at their site. www.digidesign.com

I have been using pro tools for years and every version even PTIII had the option to import files. Good luck!

consolidate all the tracks in cubase before u import them in PT le .. this way they will all be same timing... not sure if cubase has that function.. but if it does.. go with that. - LBC

That's exactly how you do it. If you knew that why are you asking?

as said before you need to consolidate your all the files to the beginning of the session (so they all start at the same time) import audio tracks.

Does the same go for sonar, is there an easier way to import songs into sonar without having to save the wavs and import them into sonar and lining them up again?

I don't use cubase but somebody was telling me the other day with sx-2 you can import and export protools sessions with it. hint: think .omf
