Help please! when I try importing audio into a Cubase SX audio track I cannot get the midi-click tempo match the real time tempo of that audio.
The same happend when I import a loop-wave file into an audio track and try to create (add) some midi improvements to that loop.
Can somebody help me to undestand what is the problem and what to do about it?

Thanks

Don't really get your question, however, if you want to sync your audio (imported) to the current session, you must set the tempo in Cubase SX to match your audio tempo.

Peace out!

click 'project' up at the top, then scroll down to 'tempo track'. A little window will pop up wherein you can edit the track's tempo.

Cubase Audio

Thanks Guys for your help. I will let you know if that works for me.

If you're still having trouble, do a search in the Cubase manual for "Hit Points". This feature helps sync audio to midi especially if the Tempo of the audio fluctuates.

Hitpoint editing is a very useful feature when you are dealing with loops. Basically, you can seperate drum beats into different sections and play around with them if you want to.
