importing .aif files into Logic Pro 9 . . .

Hey guys longtime cubase user here who decided to try Logic after upgrading from a G5 to a Mac Pro ( 10.6.8)

When I'm trying to import my cubase .aif files by dragging them over from another hard drive I get a prompt telling me . . .

Audio file "guitars_tk114.aif" hasn't got sufficient access privileges so the overview can not be saved!

An then I get an imported track that aint playing what it supposed to be playing.

Any ideas on how to fix the problem other than buying Cubase 6?

Thanks in advance!

Are you pulling the audio files straight from the Cubase project folders to a new folder on the Mac Pro or to a new Logic project on the Mac Pro?

Maybe Migration Assistant can help?

You could try opeing up the info on the folder containing your cubase session aif files [apple - i] and click the padlock to open permissions for it (you'll need your mac user password if you have set one for yourself). Set the folder as read-write access and also choose the 'apply to enclosed items' option.
