According to the iMic packaging, I should be able to run sound into my blues & white G3 Mac via a USB port (which it does) as well as output sound through the iMic to my external speakers (whici it won't do).
Anyone using an iMic have this problem?
Pro Tools Free also has an error when launching when I have the iMic plugged in.
I'm running Mac OS 9.1. According to the Pro Tools Free documentation, it looks like input via USB is not supported, and that I'm required to run "built-in" in the sound control panel for Input and Output.
Starting to look like the iMic doesn't like my system. I can live without it, but the benefit of the iMic is that it has both line in and mic options. With the mic in option, it boosts the signal, so I don't need a preamp for mics or recording my acoustic directly (w/o preamp).
