I have no interface to my computer... I think I need a nice pci card but which one? how do I hook that up to a mixer? like what kind of in/outs should I look for? what's the best card? yeah I want to get a card and mixer...er... i think. Can I get the pci card... hook that up to my computer and then hook up the mixer to the card? is that it? Someone please help me out... I apologize in advance for my newbyness? thanks
p.s.- I want to be able to record a variety of music and I just need to know exactly what basic hardware do I need. The reason I want to get a mixer is that I want to eventually be able to record a full band live.
