Krakit

Rzzzzz!
I'm keeping it under $300.

I will be trying out the following Drum Machines this weekend.

Are there any missing that I should know about?

Thanks in advance!

The boss machines (although auditioned at music stores) will probably be procured via eBay.

I must have done a good job!

No one has offered any additional suggestions as to potential purchases.

Soooooooo I'm good to go then?

Fruity Loops and all the FREE samples that can be found on this board...

I appreciate the suggestion...

and FL is on my list of SOFTWARE possiblities, but this is about drum machines for now.

I will probably opt for Fruity Loops (as opposed to Acid) because I like the demo more, but that time hasn't come yet.

(slaps forehead)

Mesh FINALLY says something that makes sense, and it goes over the head.....

Nah, it wasn't lost on me.

I'm just not concentrating on a PC based setup right now.

I'm going for all 3D at the moment.

That's why I'm going to be opting for hardware over software.

You gathered that, I hope.

:)

Yep, but any chance I get to insult Mesh, I try to take advantage of it.....Im so jealous of those Swedish meatballs in his avatar.......:D

The SR-16 is starting to get a bit "dated"....... (yet, I guess sounds are sounds.....)... Anyways the new "hot" Drum machine these days is the Boss DR-770... It has orange buttons... (can't miss it.....)

I don't think I can get the 770 for under $300.

I agree though, it would be an easy choice if $$$ weren't a factor.

Yo KrakitUP:]

Get the Boss 770; I have one and it has SOOO much stuff on it. I haven't even programmed a sequence yet because the patches are so good and many of them have A/B with the tap of a button. The Latin Patches are "especially" great.

So, for 46 pezzutos above 300 pezzutos, borrow the money from your girlfriend, wife, or both. But, the 770 is a good box.

Green Hornet

Appreciate the input Green Hornet

but I have already commited to the Zoom 323.

I love this thing so much and the price was very irriesistable.

Everyday I learn something new on this unit and I don't see myself mastering it for a long time.

Very happy customer.

:D
