im lost

I have a few questions?Ive been working with this vs 880 ,and i think im ready to go to the mixing part of the process. The problem is all i have is the computer.What do i need to get to extract the music off this recorder and on to my computer .I have tons of music cause i keep putting it off. i need some answers thanks to all who reply.

Either get yourself a soundcard with digital in (that will accept your sampling rate!!) or (I think depending on your VS 'subtype'?) a CD burner that fits your machine. Then you can do backups and burn audio CDs that you can rip into your computer...

Everybody is gonna tell you to avoid the CD way as you will transfer only 16 bits, but that's all the VS can record... So I wouldn't think of loosing too much (the mixer has a higher resolution, so you CAN loose...)

Alright what r some decent sound cards in your opinion so im headed in the right direction . im also planning on playing around and recording a little on this computer. thanks
