i currently have a pair of event tr5's. the woofer is only 5". that's not enough bass for me when i play bass. i play bass guitar but i don't own an amp. i use this for my bass amp. it goes to my mixer, mixer goes to my soundcard, soundcard goes to monitors. i will also get monitors with 8" woofers to replace the event tr5.
but first i need advice on a studio sub. keep in mind if i get an m-audio sub, i'll get a m-audio monitors, if i get a samson sub, i'll get samson monitors etc. these are what i'm looking at.
Samson:
