Ive ben recording for several of years on my old Fostex R8 and about a year ago + I got the Roland VS880EX. I don't record that often( once or twice a month) and I'm always having to relearn how to do stuff with the 880.
I have a mackie 16 board and just borrowed a 16 bit ADAT from my friend Jerry. Now I'm back in the studio a couple of times a week doin' different little diddies. This machine has the ELCO connector and sounds really clean. So......
Will the LX20 meet my needs, can I get a 'professional'
sounding mix when I do local jingles with it?
How hard is to get a good used ADAT you can trust!
Any and all comments appreciated.

I've been recording on ADATS for 4 years now and love the ease and operation. With care and cleaning, ADATS will serve whatever purpose you need it for.
