So this is a little didly I brought to my band back in 1975 / 6. I was a definitely a pot head so most of the musical creation was done under the influence of the whacky Tabacky. We wrote a lot of long songs and this one followed that style 50 years later looking back yeah I would have orchestrated this a lot differently with out so much repetition. That said it is a pretty bitchin little song in it's own right...I had to cut a part out in the middle where the tape was bad...but you get the idea...I wrote it to let Macias do his thing on the guitar with me getting to do some cool synth parts with my Roland SH3

Thanks Buddy! Not bad for a bunch of young punks back in 77 trying to break into the prog rock thing.. I was talking to the old bass player last night confirming he's in on the 50 year reunion concert next year and he brought this one up and that itwould have been epic if we had ended with White punks of dope. This was the same concert where the crowd of over 2000 all went koo koo crazy on the purple haze thing...We had a killer version of WPOD lined up to play for the second encore but the promoter (who was a friend and fan of the band) pleaded with us to play something else a little more mellow. No recorded version of how we did it but I can tell you the Tubes would have loved it... Had we played it, it probably would have been bonkers...The moon and the stars we aligned and we were on top of the world.
