Im getting no ouput sound

I Just installed a new Hercules Game Theatre XP.

I am getting a input signal but nothing coming out of the headphones.

I have all the window mixers turned up and all the drivers have been loaded, Im kinda stuck on what else to check. Im thinking there might be something wrong with the unit itself.

I 'm assuming you checked your volume levels in the playback mixer. If it's still not working check you multimedia settings and make sure that card is selected as your primary playback device.
 
In the multimedia options, there is only the card I installed now. I took the onboard card out of the picture in the BIOS.

Double checked the playback volumes and the master and wav balance are both half way turned up. So far I have nothing. I do get an input signal, so this is why Im thinking it could be hardware related.
 
Okay, Im getting some sound out but its not very loud. I have all the levels in the windows mixer cranked. Any suggestions?
 
I dont get this at all?? I can turn the Wav volume on the windows mixer all the way up or down and its not affecting the volume of the sound, but the master is a little.

Why would the Wav slider not be functioning? Is something not enabled?
