That is pretty cool and a little ingenious. Aint it noisy though? Surely you can't use it while recording, huh?


For gigs, I use two small squirrel cage fans. One on top of each of the guitarists road cases blowing right at me from each side. With the way we set up it's perfect. It's amazing how much difference simply being a few degrees cooler can make.
 
Actually it's pretty quiet and smooth.
I was figuring it'd hum through the hat stand, but it don't really. I could pry try and find some type of rubber iso mounts, but doubt I will.

I don't use fans while recording, but you're right that bit of air blowing at ya can make a world of difference.

I'll be alright, so long as my beard don't get to close! :eek:

LOL yeah your beard could be a casualty if it got too long! And does your wife/girlfriend have a sister?!?!
 
I've had the beard a few times now. My facial hair grows like mad!
That pic was from my b-day on the 16'th. I had chopped it all off in Sept. '09.
I'll get annoyed with again, I'm sure.

That's the wife, and she's sisterless.
 
Mine would reach my belly button at it's longest stretched out. It's so gross though. I felt like a hobo. I'd had enough and chopped that bitch off.
