anyone have any suggestions to an affordable comp that will handle most recording software?
 
Looking for an inexpensive computer for recording? The standard suggestion around these parts is to build your own system. Try a search and you should come up with several threads with specific suggestions on hardware. That should enable you to run most software packages except those which are Mac only (e.g., Logic and Digital Performer).
