iLok Help

My old Pro Tools m-powered iLok still lets me open Pro Tools but when I tried to download the waves ssl4000 demo the website says One connected iLok can't be used with iLoks website and this account that's the only ilok I have and only account. Do I need the 2nd Generation?

A repsonse from ilok.com regarding this issue reads,

"Can you please attempt to synchronize with iLok.com using an alternate internet browser?

Firefox 3.6 (and all earlier versions),Safari and Internet Explorer are all fully compatible with iLok.com.

Chrome and Firefox 4.0 are not fully compatible, but we are currently working to resolve these incompatibilities."

If not, your best bet is to call customer support. There are a few other unresolved instances of this complaint on various forums.
