I think people are too stunned by your technical excellence to even comment on the jam.

Lucky You! I'm impressed, not stunned.

The jam sounded like you were listening to each other mostly at the beginning but far too few points inbetween. The result was like the sound you get when several (very technically astute on their instrument) people jam along with a click track and then the parts are combined. This works quite well with stuff like you find on Abbey Road, but the tasty lick you got going early on in this piece requires more interaction between the players to sustain it through to the end.

And most of the Egyptian Hash I've seen was Camel Shit.

Afghani is the stuff.

Lebanese and Turkish are acceptable.

yeah, i know, i hear ya.....

but remember, this was in 1983!

and yes, i agree, there's some definite brain fart moments in there, but at the time, the idea was to go off, while trying to keep a groove happening, we had been listening to mahivishnu orchestra, and that was our lame attempt!

back in the early 80's, the red egyptian hash was supposedly the best...... we had navy seal -type guys that had just come back from alexandria, and gave us a brick of this stuff!!

it got to the point that we were just giving it away...

"hey, here's a chunk".......

looked like a piece off of a kit-kat bar......... LOL

the drummer and i were out in the big room, and the bass player was in the booth, and the sound guy was just mixing in these wild effects on the guitar as we were playing......
i was playing an ibanez artist, out of my boogie through a 4X12 and no effects.....

Hell NO! Bush and his ilk want to merely destroy this fine hash. I say LIBERATE it and sell it on the world market, with the proceeds going to those getting the filthy end of the Sanchez in Afghanistan. They've been shit on by Warlords, Commies, Yankees, Religious Fanatics and now that Winter draws near- even Mother Nature's gonna get her turn. Again.
I don't care if that seems un-PC. It's the right thing to do.
