It works!!!, you can download the demo version, the problem is, as somebody mention it, SUPPORT. Yesterday I went to an M-Audio clinic and the guy told me that in a month or so Pro-Tools will be working with all M-Audio cards.

Bah!, why did i just sell my 1010lt for the FA-101???

Howyadoin,

The glass is half full...

Q: I installed Pro Tools M-Powered (Demo- or Full Version), but although my M-Audio interface is correctly installed and works with other music software, Pro Tools quits on startup. Why is this and what can I do about it?

A: Please verify that you are using one of the 5 select M-Audio products that are compatible with Pro Tools M-Powered. Only these select M-Audio interfaces are currently compatible with Pro Tools M-Powered:

- M-Audio FireWire 1814
- M-Audio FireWire 410
- M-Audio FireWire Ozonic
- M-Audio Delta Audiophile 192
- M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496

While I'm on my feet... does anyone know if Pro Tools Free will interface with a Delta 1010?

Thanks,

-Mark

Dont know about the 1010 but on my ap2496 i had to install new drivers. Still havent found the Bass Management tab

Certainly there is plenty of stuff that competes and in my opinion beats Pro Tools LE.

However, in the end Pro Tools HD is still king and will be for quite some time.

Is there any software that you can use with a digioo2/focusrite octopre setup that will allow more than 32 tracks?

Im on a mac.

M-audio have now incorporated Digi support in a new Delta card driver ver51. Bloated the download size somewhat. Slight change to the installer, it seems to load the "M" icon for the control panel right away (I think the earlier ones required a reboot).

From a thread in the Sound-on_sound forum, some got their 1010, 1010lt and 410 working with PT mpowered using the AP2496 driver (.50).

This new driver...
http://www.midiman.net/index.php?do=support.driverdownload&ID=507
...openly supports 1010, 66, 44, AP192, AP2496 etc, so should work with the M-powered PT.

Thats the driver I get pointed to when I pick the Delta 1010 on the M-audio website. So if its the same driver as the Audiophiles and it works with ProTools M Powered. Why isn't the Delta 1010 in the list of supported products for ProTools M Powered?? They affraid people will start buying Delta 1010s instead of Digis??????? I haven't tried it with my delta 1010 yet but I'll be trying it soon to confirm it works.
