If I were going to use a mic to look like an ultra futuristic ray gun prop, it would have to be the Senn. 441U. Although an ECM8000 looks pretty cool too if you hold it up like a gun.

Well I would say my AT 25...it has a nice sleek look to it.

But I think I would peruse my local Radio Shack first because we all know their mic's kick ass and if any mic is capable of doubling as a ray blaster, I would think theirs would have to be at the top of the list. :D

1st thing I thought of was the 441. Mine is black too, so it would really fit the bill, especially with the clip.

anyone of these old girls

I have an old Unidyne pre SM57 with the attached mic stand clip that looks like a pistal grip. The body is like brushed aluminum so it definately has that Flash Bazbo from the 25th century look to it.
My Earthworks SR-71's look more like alien anal probes.

Dr. Collossus, I really like those, but they almost look like a snubnose .357 or something. Hope you never have to try to get those things through airport security!

How about Audix drum mics like the D2. The look like sonic bazooka ammunition or something.

Get a crazy looking ray gun from walmart, hollow it out, and stick in a mic of your choice.

I don't have one, but those old Altec "birdcage" mics are probably the coolest I've seen. Coolest looking I actually own is the Microtech Gefell UMT800.

Others with really attractive design that I own would have to include the Royer 121 and the BLUE Mouse. And it's true, I get a lot of comments on the look of the QTC's.
