If you had $5000 to spend, would it be on Behringer or Nady gear?

You might want to budget $60.00 out of that to buy new trash cans to store this new equipment in.

I'd travel to russia and poland with it. :D

And save some to get to the jamfest next year. ;)

Misterque..would you mind mucking up some other area to bash Behringer and all the other crap gear. It seems you are just running up your post total. Maybe we should ask they create you your own little area for your comedy routine

If U ain't feelin' my flow on Behringer son, then don't bother replying to my sarcastic threads!
There's a valid reason as to why I'm posting these so-called "Behringer Gear Inquiry" threads!
In addition, U non-informed member, I don't give 2 sh#t's about post counts as the only purpose they serve is to indicate that a member is an active participant of this SITE!
Also, as a previous owner of Beh's products and eventually discovering that thier line of goods affords the average home-reccer with sub-par quality and perf, irregardless of their LOW PRICE, the immediate need to UPGRADE one's gear to at least a DECENT LEVEL, is maginified 10-fold when realizing the limitations of their line of products! Like starting out recording with a 4-track unit then realizing the need for 8,16 or more tracks!!
Lastly, Behringer in certain aspects is indeed a COMEDY in itself!
Though, a FEW of their products provide adequate results such as their dynamics processors and their late entry into the omni mic world, I wish i had some-1 to scold me for investing in 8, ...YEAHHHH EIGHT different products of Behringer.
Cuzzin' Brucie Blue Bear, may the Almighty bless him, guided me into purchasing a RNC (ON POINT!) and the Lex MPX500(a MAJOR, sonic & perf diff from Beh's DSP1000). I learned the hard and expensive way!!!!

Scinx-Phinx, these opinions are based on A/B & C-in' Beh's craps vs other products! My ears along with the solid advice I rec'd not just from gear-retail outlets, local studio owners and the smooth and knowledgable homiez here, but from Behringer itself;...when their own customer service totally fucked me on 1 of their boards I purchased brand new basically telling me there was nothing they could do to rectify my position in replacing/returning and refunding!
Now step-off with your criticism of this particular Behringer thread!

SIGNED,
A po'-@ss brutha' who can no longer afford to gamble/invest in cheap sh#t Rant-Mode OFF!!

R-U feelin' me now!!??

Peace

Actually - I wholeheartedly agree that Behringer and Nady and the like are no good. I am not defending these crappy companies. I also do not care at all if you post a thread beating up on them, or doing your comedy routine. However, it comes to a point when one can post "too many" things all with the same purpose.
I am not criticizing anyone - just requesting that you consolidate all your one-liners into fewer posts. Take your valium

seriously...Behringer... long term

I think this is a good serious question of comparison.

I would like to add from a price standpoint with some speculation:

SCENARIO:
if you buy Behringer, say the
ULTRA PRO 18 CHANNEL COMPRESSSOR w/ MULTI EFFEX PRO LINE PRO UNIT 300004 for $49.99, then does that mean the store owner probably paid ~ $19.99??
which would then mean that your resale value would be around:
$9.99

So as you upgrade thru your years, you can probably save like $10 when you trade your Behringer unit in towards your next purchase maybe the ULTRA-ULTRA PRO unit they'll becoming outwith!

All I'm saying is that Behringer will probably hold its value better than Nady & Radio Shack stuff. Almost $4 to 6 bucks better!!!!

YESSS, Mr. Q! I have seen the light. As the clueless Juliana Hatfield clones are unimpressed by my Avalon front end, I'll get myself a bigass Behringer mixing console so they'll be impressed by how many faders I have! Who cares if it sucks, as long as it's HUGE, and has lots of lights?
And Mustafa, I strongly suggest that you assure yourself of a righteous place in paradise with your eternally virginal houris by blowing up the headquarters of Behringer, and yourself also. If you were a real man, that's what you'd do, instead of cranking out this anti-spam. C'mon, show us you're serious about this, and show the Imam you've got what it takes. Baghdad Bob will send scratch tickets to your next of kin.-Richie

LOL!!!

Wassssabi brutha Richie!!! Howz things!! :D  :D

Mustafa send his regards!!!;) :D ;)

Behringer bashing is great when you can afford better "prosumer" trash. Depends on where you sit. If you are a home reccer with kids, house, crappy job etc. you can only afford Beh stuff. If this is you, how would you feel being insulted everytime you log onto this BBS? Give people a break. I would love to see someone like Fletcher take a look at your equipment list. He would lambast you to hell and back. I find it amusing that so many people bash behringer gear and fucking drool over Mackie. They are the same low end stuff period. Ask someone who uses top end stuff and they will say that all the stuff we have (in general) is crap. Opinions are opinions. That is all. But, insulting and berating people is another matter. Be prepared for the same treatment when you get that shiny new "high-end-to-you" toy and have pros tell you that you made a big mistake and it is shit etc.

Yo' acorec, please see my response to chessrock's "If you had 1 Billion to buy Behringer Gear......" located in this very same forum!
You will understand where I'm comin from!

...........and no, I'm not bashing BEHRINGER GEAR OWNERS!!!
I'm BASHING BEHRINGER!!!!

Why do people of the world find it so much easier to highlight the differences between them as opposed to the similarities?

This is HOMERECORDING for chrissakes!! We're all on here because we have a hell of a lot in common.

But some people act like it's fucking jews and muslims and shit.

Gear snobs: get off your high horses and realize that although we don't all have the same budgets, we have many of the same aspirations and the same interests... lets help eachother eh?
