Mineral wool vs fiberglass prices depend a lot on location. Rocks are heavy as is silica sand and the finished product is bulky. So where you are in relation to the nearest factory is a huge influencer in the cost.

I had a bad experience framing my mineral wool this evening. I got very frustrated with it. Argh I still am mad about it. It is a very messy job...703 = way better too work with.
