the one he's singing into may be the SM58 but he's talking about the one clipped tot he violin

and SM58's aren't rare??? SM 57 and SM 58 are industry standard and also only cost around $100

dry humor doesn't translate well on teh interwebs, yes? :D

Haha gotta enjoy internet sarcasm. Any way, yes the one he's singing into is very clearly an SM58, I could see that. But the mic I was wondering if anyone could identify is the one clipped onto his violin, as it says in my above post. Any ideas anyone?

I'm the proud owner of the even more rare SM58LCDB (Less Cable, Dented Ball). I wouldn't think of gouging a poor newb like Darrin though. I'd gladly let mine go for $450.

At least I can say mine has never been used to stimulate my prostate...the ball on mine is perfectly round.:p

I have an even rarer (more rare) SM57. It was made the year before the SM58. I'll let it go for...........ooohhhhh I don't know.....$1,000,000. :D:D:D:D:D:D

Ive tried the 57...it lacks the ball my prostrate likes so much.
