I appoligize for the length of this post but I am getting to that point in my room construction that I do not want to go back and do anything over.
I have a 6' X 16' X 7' room that I have posted the modes etc and John stated that I need to build some Absorbers for certain frequencies. I will be using my Event 20/20 bas speakers on the home made stands that have been circulated here on bbs. They will sit about a foot from the back wall with behind a large desk. I am planning on doing vocal recording on the other side of the room. My current plan is to put the absorbers on the walls opposite of where the monitors are pointing. Then building a bookshelf on the wall where the vocals will be recorded for over all diffusion. The ceiling will be treated with 703 wrapped in burlap ( unless someone can suggest a cheaper solution ) to kill all reflections from the ceiling. Am I missing anything? Any suggestions will be gratly appreciated.
Thanks
Ryan
