Idea for June Challenge

After looking at May's Challenge (which I am still working on), and a couple of other threads, I think June's Challenge could be something along the lines of writing a duet, or writing a song in both a male and female version. Whaddya think?

Challenge addendum

I think taking a pre-existing song and either changing it to a duet or changing it to the view point of another person should be acceptable as well. Duets don't have to be mixed gender...two guys/girls singing are still duets.

However, the key to the challenge, for me, is the representation of different perspectives. So, a situation described from a male and female position would work towards this nicely. A man-man duet (or woman-woman, of course) could easily end up being just two people singing different bits (e.g. Lennon and McCartney).

Interestngly, one of my most favourite duets, though some people think the song is really soppy, is Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush's "Don't give up".
