I Want my Ibanez 560 LEFTY!!!

I've been like totally gone for a long time, no music at all for about 5 years, and about 10 years since I was serious, had to get my stuff together as a freakin human being (I lived with my mom growing up...nuff said)...but I just put some money down on a total FLUKE (was gonna buy a semi-cool Jap Strat with a Floyyd put in...right handed...upside down tremolo..big blah)...and as I was leaving I found the guitar I always wanted. I don't get paid for 2 weeks. Life sucks. Life is Beautiful. But life is just FAR too amazing (and crappy when you don't have your guitar)!!!

I know...I'm a big idiot for showing my love of what everyone else is taking for granted...but no one cares about the people I grew up on anymore (Vai, Satch, Gilbert, and Iommi, Wylde, Rhodes, and that guy John Riddell from Peterborough I learned from for 10 years, ands Neil Peart, and Geddy!!!).

(p.s. I'm not a big MTV fan, don't have it here in Canada with $7/month cable he he...)

I wouldn't say no one cares i just bought G3 DVD it rocks man ,it has sparked a new interest in my wanting to play way more than i need to ......i really dig th last 3 songs where Satch ,vai,and johnson all play together

Actually I don't know that sh%t. I know them all individually (how would Homer say that???).

Play as much as makes you make the notes you wanna hear...who cares about Satch and Vai (obviously I do...)...but don't.

PLAY WHAT YOU WANNA HEAR. PERIOD. one-hundred and fifty years later in my case...

(and if you're a geek like me, learn what you need to make you sound like you want...) Cheers to new beginnings. I like this computer stuff...

first off i think i know where ur comin from but thats not what i meant .....since you've admitted to being away for awhile ,there has been a movement away from shred,i was just saying how that it has affected my writing more lately... believe me i don't and won't play like anyone else i am all about th original stuff "covers"are th pacifier to get people to hear my stuff as long as th guys in my band dig it thats fine an when they quit diggin it i'll find some others ....its about stickin to what u believe

Ya, I've been out of it for a while, and I'm sitting on my hands for the next 2 weeks waiting to pay my guitar off, thinking of all the stuff I need, and just plain dying to play. I know, there are people who like the same music as me, and people who don't, and to be honest I can bet you a pickle I won't be shredding as much as trying to say things a little more melodically (since I've had a big mouthful of life since I played last...).

Sorry if I was writing daft stuff last night, was having a spiritful time, albeit with barley rather than soul:S
