I found numerological proof!

3+6+4+7+3+2+5+9+9+5+3+6+9+4+9+5+7=96

cubase is one of the most popular programs for computer recording:

c__u_b_a_s_e
3+3+2+1+1+5 =15

96 + 15 = 111

The next "big" version of cubase will be 6.0

111 * 6 = 666 -> computer recording is evil!!!

What can I say, bored at work. You guys actually work at work? I spent half an hour trying to prove that sonusman is evil but it just didn't work :D

Isn't analog recording evil as well? Once my fostex a8 broke down while recording, that was extremely evil. Aren't there a third alternative that's not evil? Listening to live music? Can't be, live is evil backwards. I'm really confused :confused: now, hope you experienced homerecorders can lead me to the right path ;)

Sonusman, a suspicion is starting to form in my mind. We've all known the downside of computer recording for a long time, right? But you're posting this nugget of wisdom only this week. Not only that, but you're the sort of person who, when they get really enthusiastic about some new gear, trashes any gear that's less good. So, here's the suspicion: you're trashing computer recording because you've finally been seduced by a box - that new $5000 Radar unit, for example...
 
Errrrrrrrr, NO!!!

I am about to embark on some dreaded editing for a pretty big project I am mixing next month. They want to AutoTune the lead vocals too!!! Yikes......

I suppose I should be a bit more specific. Computer MIXING/MASTERING is EVIL!!! Don't get me started.....
