I think im starting to get the hang of mixing

I think im starting to get better at it. Let me know what you think. This was just an improvised jam in D in our drummers basement that was in the middle of a song of ours. Any suggestions would be welcome like...effects to add, where to place things in the stereo field, and of course loudness of intruments and whatnot.
 
That is one kick ass jam there!! I think it sounds absolutey great the way is!!!

Great performance by all - especially liked the guitar playing (but then I'm biased). Not a whole lot I would change. Drums were nice - especially cymbals clear. Keyboards no problems. I can hear all the instruments pretty well but the lead guitar could come up a bit in places (just my .02). I think this was a pretty well done mix - as in clear and well panned and eq'd.....
 
Thanks for the feedback all. One thing im trying to work on is getting a little better snare sound. I feel like the snare doesnt cut as well as it could. What kind of EQ settings does anyone reccomend. The mic on the snare really didnt pick up a great sound IMO.
 
Nice jam! IMO, lead guitar could come up a bit, but like imo, I'm biased. :D
Sounds good though, keep it up!
