I was writing a song for a group a couple of months ago. The group had a femal lead singer. I didn't think that I could write a song fast enough.
I stumbled upon something.
I used a technique called visualization.
I visualized the band playing in front of an audience.
I also visualized that the band was getting ready to play
the song that I was about to write. I visualized that the crowd was estatic. I tell you the song flowed.
I didn't tell anyone my little technique because I thought they would think I was crazy. I think if you can master this you can write some pretty awesome stuff.
I read my 2nd song writing book the other day. On page 61
there it was. "Visualizing a Hit." I'm not the only nut after all.
It seems Jason Blume of "6 steps to songwriting success" agrees with me.
Any more visualizers out there besides me?
