I reformatted the main drive, I have no sound now!

I reformatted drive C, now I have no sound. I also installed my Delta 44, but still no sound. I can't even eneter my BIOS anylonger! I updated the latest drivers, I checked my Device manager, and I made sure the mute button was off.

WHat's is going on here?
