I recorded a song on my P80, now...

I have two songs recorded on my p80 that I want to record onto tracks in cakewalk. Cakewalk will record whatever I play on the p80, but not the tracks in memory when I play them back. Is there anything I can do to get the info over, or do I have to play it all out by hand again?

I think you're asking to dump the midi performance into Cakewalk from your P80, right. You can dump sysex into Cake, but I don't think it will accept song data as a midi dump, even though your keyboard can probably send it.

thanks, is there another program i can use to simply convert the recorded songs into sheet music or something along those lines?

I'm not familiar with the P80, does it use floppy storage or anything like that? That's the only way to retrieve a midi file from a keyboard memory that I know of, unless it supports song dumping.
