Blatant begging.... I'm not gonna get anything major outa this... just props on their site, but I took this guy's original song, removed all the backup music and used some guy called Kid Cudi's vocal track to write some new music to for a remix contest they're having.
Kinda freaked me out when I dropped his vocals into my tune cause his original was done at 86bpm and mine was at 120bpm. But when I dropped it into my mix, I thought maybe I was imaging things cause apart from a couple of basic edits, it fit perfectly.
Anyhoo.... this is the link and like most stupid contests, it's not judged on talent but on popularity so if ya have the time, gimme a vote.
I set up a webpage with the widget on it showing his original tune and my remix, with a vote button.
