Hi there.

I'm looking for an easy way (or easiest possible) to transfer my old multitracks done with Cool Edit Pro and import them into Sony Vegas in sync. The old CEP multitracks are in sync and is there an easy way to transfer them over to Vegas, while keeping ALL the tracks in sync? Or will I have to just import them into Vegas and re-sync everything (bed tracks, vocals, overdubs, ect.)

I just need some decent solutions. Any and all are welcome.
Please no thread crapping or flaming in any replies. I don't have time for that.

Thanks.

Solo each track and render to a .wav file (full quality, 24bit if you've used it)

Start at 0:00 on each track to end-of-song and they'll all sync perfectly when you bring them into the second sequencer.

It's called "print to disk" or "rendering stems".

Thanks Tim for the post.

I was thinking about doing that, as I knew that would be the only way I knew how to do that, but posted here, in the off chance that there may be an easier way.

Only bad thing about doing it this way is that all the FX and volume/panning envelopes will be printed with the new files. Not exactly a good thing.

Oh by the way, do you know someone...ANYONE with a MiniDisc 4-track? I have some discs that need to be transferred and my unit is pretty much dead and will not read.

Thanks again
