So this is kind of a two part post

First could you guys Could check out my Soundclick site (My Sig) and tell me some opinions on the beats

Next i got a question......Lets say i got somebody that wants to buy a beat from me (Exclusive Rights), I know i have to give them a CD with the beat in wav format or high quality mp3 but Do i have have to have a mic so they can record vocals and then For me to Put their vocals on the beat, then finally to master it .Is it my responsibility to do all that or theres people that just do that for a living,Do i charge them for that, or do they do it on their own. Its koo if I GOT To do it i aint lazy or nuthin i just want to know if it is my responsiblity

EDIT: And What are these

^^^^I got it from beatsbuy's site

1.I like the beats.maybe you should put some vocal tags on them cus they seem to be off a lil.I wanted to hear the beat more.

2.After you sell a beat you should be done. Its good to give out a wav file and seperate tracks so they can be mixed properly with the vocals. Its their responsibility to do that.If you have a studio maybe you could include the studio time with the price of the beat.I would deal with both situations seperately.

Go to http://www.sweetwater.com to find out about those boxes on Beatsbuys site. They are signal processors like hardware reverb,eq,compressors, stuff like that.

selling beats is just that, selling the beat. u can make it "usable" on cd so they can hit up any studio they want and do whatever is needed THERE but a beat maker doesnt even "by right" have to have a studio for recording.

recording is a seperate process. unless you wanted to throw in the recording as a "means" of selling the beat then dont do it. it could be a good "marketing" tool to get more people to wanna buy your beats but it could also cheat u out of a lot of money!!!! recording sessions are seperate from buyin beats

As a beat maker all you are responsible for is making the beat and sending it at the right format (preferably tracked out wavs). If you are agreeing to record their vocals, that is up to you, but you are not responsible for that (plus if the quality is right, you can charge extra for doing that).

Also you're looking at a rack setup of Beats. Is there any part of it specifically you want info on or the whole setup?

Fiev.
