I think I have the mix pretty close. www.balloonhed.com and click on MUSIC. The imput so far has been pretty good, but some are saying it sounds a little bassy and some say it's too tinny.
Let me know

You left an item off of your poll. I was looking for:

I HATE POLLS, AND I DON'T VOTE UNLESS A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IS AT HAND

Lol...chalk up one vote for me for that one. I listened to "Pushed." That song is great, but the recording sounds a little homemade, mainly b/c of the vocal effects I think.

I don't know if you have these tracks, or if these are done or whatever, so if you could fill us in, maybe I'd have more.

thanks...it's a very cool song.

Thanks Dude

It's the first time I tried a poll. But anyway thanks for the imput. It seems whan I shrink my sound files down to an mp3, I lose some quality. I haven't explored any mp3 mastering software and don't know of any, but it seems to be an art within itself. Our songs on CD are booming. There is a noticeable difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

It's not only a good converter, but if you use the "VBR" option, it's as close as I think you can get to lossless sound in a compressed format.

That's one opinion...LOL. Nothing wrong with the poll, btw. Lotta' folks use them.

I liked the "pushed" tune off the album. It has good structure. The mix was a little muddy but that might be from the mp3 conversion. I couldnt get all the bass drum I`d like and the eq on the rythym made it a little dominant out front. Vocals were good for that genre, to me. I like your drummer`s style..

also listened to "push"

that stereo delay thing on the voice didnt do anything for me.

couldnt hear the bass guitar.

i dunno something didnt sit well with me....

not my genre of music at the very least, or really that could be it.
