Well, i have been using acid pro for the last year but people say that my music sounds unmixed which it is...
seeing that im 15 and dont have a job i cant pay to have suomebody mix my stuff so what tips do you think you can give me a better sound

i see that in acid pro there are "audio plug ins" such as reverb compression distortion etc.
can someone teach me what i should add to hip hop vocals and how much to add to it just so that my recording doesnt sound so raw

could you post a clip of what your recordings sound like now?

Shit, dude, I've never looked at your age. I had no idea you were so young.

Good for you. You are intelligent, motivated, and have goals. I would have been happy with one of those qualities when I was 16.

thanks alot ez.
i'm tryin, pretty much happy i guess. i'd be even better if some ladies thought those qualities to be desirable ;) but they'll smack their heads eventually, and say, what was i thinking!

all in theory of course.

but thank you for the kind words. :)

Don't worry, TR; when they stop thinking and acting like children, they'll find those qualities to be very desirable.

G.

Of course, if you have a johnson the size of a sub sandwich, that doesn't hurt either ;) :D

yeah a tad short of the 12 incher.. we cant all be like chestcock and myhatbroke..

I'm shitfaced, but this is the funniest post I've read in months. j-cal, if you are still reading, yes, the vox are a little "up front", but a little reverb would maybe set them in the middle of the mix. Isolate the vocal tracks and apply some reverb. Just enough so that you can hear them when soloed, but not enough to make it obvious when applied with the rest of the mix. I don't have much experience with rap, but I think it would help them blend with the samples you have used. Also, stop using 3's for e's. It just looks unprofessional. Even Snoop speaks like an adult at meetings. I hope this helps. Don't mean to be condescending. Much.
