I need helping choosing a USB Mixer

Hi there
I'm just starting to record my friends bands and i want a usb mixer that can multitrack

so if i wanted to record drums i could have snare on track one in my software from the mixer kick on track 2 etc rather than having it all mix onto one track?

I'm only looking for a 8 or 16 input to begin with

Hard to explain but anyone got any suggestions

You want an interface, not a mixer. What's your budget? Here's Sweetwater's page on interfaces - choose USB or Firewire, etc.
