I HAVE RECENTLY HEARD OF GUYS USING SOUNDFONTS AND I WAS CURIOUS TO KNOW IN HOW CAN I IMMEDIATELY GET STARTED USING THEM WITH CAKEWALK PRO AUDIO 9.0 --- WHAT PROGRAM DO I NEED FOR THEM TO WORK WITH CAKEWALK, WHERE DO I GET THEM FROM??

If you have a soundblaster it comes with its own soundfonts and software.

If not, you need to get a soundfont loader like Livesynth Pro or Vsampler. You load your list of sounds into these and then select them from within Cakewalk.

Good Luck. Not sure Pro Audio 9.0 handled DXi programs or not. This might be a limitation. If so, you need to pick up a soundblaster card.

PA9 doesen't support DXi' so if you don't have a Soundblaster, you need a standalone Soundfont-player. Now that's allright, you'll find one here :)
