I Need Help!!! I Have A Art tube Preamp And i have Adobe Audition Recording Software.

When i Try To Record My Music i get a delay through my Microphone so when i record its off key on my instrumentals...im new to this site soo i just need help i dont know if its my labtop my software or my preamp....please help

What interface are you using? Can you describe your signal chain from your mic to your computer?

Off key or out of time? Key is pitch. Timing is timing.

Yeah, there is latency when you are monitoring your new track off Audition. Most interfaces have essentially an audio "thru" option so you can monitor your overdubbed tracks without the latency of going through your souncard/software/back out the soundcard.
