I Need An Expert Opinion!

I've been recording for a while now and because i do it alone i am a very huge critic on myself, so would anyone like to please critique my vocal sound on my recordings. Not the mix mind you but the vocal quality, only because

1. I've never been to a recording studio outside my own to record, but will eventually
2. I've been basing my recording of my vocals on accapellas i've gotten from some friends (The games "dreams", ruff ryders "get wild")
3. I would really like a second opinion who will give me some type of insight if im headed in the right direction

Yeah man sounds good. Nice upfront controled compressed sound. The backing track doesnt sound too great a quality. Could be the MP3 conversion. The snare sounds good. Where did you get the snare sample?
