Well, we are a new puertorican spanish rock band, just formed, with around 12 originals songs. We have just started to hit the Bars and Pubs on the area. Recently, on a show, someone liked the music and asked us to play on a local of rock bands. We where the opening the act, and all the other bands where big or well know on the PR scene. To make it short, this show had opened a lot of doors.
One of it has been people asking us to be on COMPILATIONS CDs. The idea is simple, you gather around a lot of bands from all over the world (Europe, South, Central and North America), put them on a CD, and each band is responsible of selling some CDs, any money you make from selling the album is yours to keep. If the CD sells your band will be heard all around the globe. Other good thing is that (one of those compilation CD) offers studio time (for FREE) to record that song, to be sure that it is very good quality.
