I need an admins help

I couldn't find the list of the admins here, but I'm having a technical problem with my account. Everytime I click on my username in the upper right hand corner, it always talks me to the account of someone with username "dan". I can't edit his account or anything, but I don't know how to get to my own profile page. Even when I click on "My Profile" it still takes me to "dan"'s profile, and not mine: "Dan.".

I just figured out I can at least get to my settings through clicking "Settings", but is there any fix for when I click my username and "My Profile"?
 
This is just weird.

You need to post this in THIS <---- (click on this) forum.
 
I just posted it in that section. Were there any solutions that you saw?
 
Just make sure that you are spelling your user name correctly.
 
WoW! I went to your profile page and it went to *dan* not *Dan.* as well!
 
It's probably that period in your name that is screwing things up. They will most like need to give you a name without the period, so start thinking about who you want to be next.
 
Ugh. I hate coming up with new names, but if that's what it takes...

I don't get how this can happen though. It's not like someone is manually assigning the names to your profile page.
 
Wait until the admins look at it. But it might take until Monday for them to do so.
 
'.' is one of those things that does not register well. Maybe just register as 'Dan with a dot'?

Just kidding man, you will likely be able to use your preferred user name. We just do not have the ability to fix that ourselves.
