I need an acoustic guitar amp

According to everything I read and reviewed single 8" speakers come up on the short side.

I'm tempted to put a 10" speaker in the Trace; I think there is just room enough (barely). It's such a sweet sounding amp as long as the gain isn't up very much.

Fisman Loudbox, Loudbox Mini, or Bose L1 Compact. Great options for small gigs!

I also have a Taylor with the Fishman Pickup. I have the California Blonde and I am very happy with it. Other acoustic amps I tried were not a good match for it, but I didn't try every amp out there. As soon as I tried the California Blonde, I knew I had found "the one."

all the recording and live shows are mic on the acoustic very seldom do we use a direct line in and that can be done with just a mic and board /p.a

I wuz gonna recommend SWR, but they don't seem to make coostick git amps anymore. Can't go wrong with a Marshall in my books.

When I used to do acoustic gigs with a buddy we never used amps.
I don't think you necessarily need one.
