I have the yamaha hs50m monitor.. I want to buy a subwoofer to match its great sound...does anyone have some recommendations? I record hip hop/rap music if that matters..
I need a sub..any recommendations?

what do you mean by "just treat the room"...besides reducing the reflecting sound comming off the walls, how would that change having a sub or not...?

also, you do know that your speakers also have a sub that is made for it?

however, personally i wouldn't add a sub to my room until the acoustics were taken care of. particularly in the lows.

I know the hs series comes with its on sub...i was just wondering what other opinions were on it...ill read that link you sent and see whats up...
