So, I have a Fostex g16, and i want to connect it to a mixer...I had an allen & heath that was rca in/outs for the fostex....but I want to buy some new stuff, and i want to know what mixer is better, 'cos I want to connect a patch pannel too, so I don't know how I have to do it.

Thanks!

Santi

mixer

wow thats a nice mixer, any newer mixer will have aux outs that are pre and post fader...... can be as simple as using the monitor outs if you want..... the behringers are inexpensive and quiet, but some here dont appreciate there business practices, i have a peavey 12 channel i like very much.....

hard to replace such a quality mixer with out spending an arm and a leg....

personally, moving from any allen heath (especially an older one) to a Behringer is a huge step backwards. The Behringers are inexpensive, but quiet is not something I would associate with them. They may be quieter than the Peavey listed above, but I bet the Peavey has a "warmer and friendlier" sound. You may want to look for an older Tascam console. Their price on the used market offers a good cost to performance ratio.

as i said, thats a nice mixer, my peavey is dead quiet and so is my behringer i use for phantom power,

you never really mentioned a price range, but as i said most NEW units are pretty nice, all a mater of tast and affordability....

Behringer ub 802

I was just on ZZsounds website and they are advertising the ub802 for $49.99. That's about 10 bucks below Musician's Friend. I don't know why Behringer gets such a bad rap but the stuff I've bought does a good job for me.
